Casual play is always available! You don't have to play in tournaments. There are always club members ready for casual, non-tournament chess games.

Monthly Schedule

Second Tuesdays: G/10 Unrated Tournament

⏰ 7:00 PM | Registration begins at 6:30 PM

Fast-paced, fun tournament using Game-10 time controls (each player has 10 minutes total). Swiss format, 4 rounds. You do not need to be a USCF member to participate.

💰 Entry: $5 | Prizes: $2.50 per win, $1.25 per draw

Third Tuesdays: Teaching Demo with Nathan

⏰ Starting at 6:30 PM

Nathan presents an instructional demonstration based on a chess theme. These sessions are popular with members for both the learning and the camaraderie. Great for players of all levels.

No tournament this night—just learning and casual play.

Last Tuesdays: G/29 USCF Rated Tournament

⏰ 7:00 PM | Registration begins at 6:30 PM

USCF rated tournament using Game-29 time controls (29 minutes per player, no increment). Three rounds. USCF membership required—please register online before attending.

Every Thursday: Online Tournament on Chess.com

⏰ 7:00 PM sharp (log in a few minutes early)

Free online tournament hosted on Chess.com. Join our Chess.com club to participate. The servers start the tournament promptly at 7:00 PM.

About USCF Membership

Do I need to be a USCF member?

Only for our rated tournaments (Last Tuesdays). All other events are open to everyone regardless of USCF membership status.

If you'd like to play in USCF rated tournaments, please register to become a USCF member on their website. We cannot process membership registrations at the club, but signing up online is quick and easy.

For rated tournaments: Please have your USCF ID number ready when you arrive. You can look it up on the USCF website if you've forgotten it.
